Hello,

Finally decided to give swage a go but have a slight problem, the built-in profile options are grayed out, i can’t use this feature.

I followed the basic setup in the .pdf but never been able to use the built in profiles.

any ideas ?

Thanks

Reuben

Hi Rueben,

Once you have your Swage call into EI, then you need a path. Swage will look at the first child in the hierarchy as the path item. At that point you should be able to turn on internal profiles. Path items can be Path2line, Trestle, or imported polyline child entities. If you have a second child in your Swage hierarchy, its going to assume the second child (and additional children) are your profile curves and internal profiles will be deactivated.
