Hello, hello—long-time user, first-time poster.
I’m working in 1920x1080 HD, and for the first time I’ve come up against a problem where my rendered Image files are larger than 2 GB, and I can’t find a way to deal with them—AfterEffects, ImagePlayer and QuickTime all go fishy when I try to bring in the files. All files less than 2 GB in size are working peachy-keen (same content and settings, just a different duration).
Renderama wouldn’t stitch the movies so I rendered them as standalone sequences on a single machine, but the resulting files are still too big for Image-aware apps to swallow.
Is there a workaround? An updated version of the Image/QuickTime plug-in?
I’m using EIAS 7.0.1 running under Leopard 10.5.2 with QuickTime 7.4.5 and AfterEffects 8.0.2.27.
Any insights or suggestions appreciated—time is of the essence!
Thanks.
