EIM bringing EPS as curves

AM i doing something wrong or it just modeler wont bring the EPS files saved as v8 aƱrady polygonal ho could i make Modeler to bing it as curves not polys. DO i make any sense?
I rather have ai import now that i have tried after many years being modelling EPS files or AI i will want an AI import into trestle or whatever it is. Modeler is a beauty for the ones that knows how to for me not defently i am nor gonna try again

If you save bezier curves in your 2D drawing program as .ai than they should also come into EIM as bezier curves.
Another story is if you like to bring in wires into Tresle. For that you should check the current workflow thread at CGTalk from Brian and Dave.

my workflow for bringing curves into EIM is as follow
Convert text into outlines or in case of a shape leave as it is and saving ai v8 , import in EIM but they come already filled is like it doesnt give the option to import it as curves.Is maybe a checkbox so you can import non filled

Ok, i understand.

After you imported your “filled” letter or shape go into the “Face Editing” palette in the lower left and select “uncover face”. Now you should be able to edit your bezier curves with the bezier tools.

Ok i got it working. Thanks Stefan i just did what you told me and it is working ok not so practical but ok. It is very very very slow to extrude evry single piece of geoetry for example i extuded the word aleluya i have to exturde evrysingle one is there anyway to extrude as a group.
