If this is the wrong forum for this, moderators please move this post to the correct forum.

As a long time Modeler user, the number one thing I’d like to see implemented is the ability to take a paste from Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop paths.  It would be very helpful to create a path in illustrator or a selection turned into a path in photoshop, then integrate it into Modeler.  I’d love to take type layouts done by our design department and extrude, bevel or lathe it quickly.

I’d also love to see a camera map modeler that simply projects a texture while modeling.  It would have to have to be able to project using real world camera data such as horizontal field of view.  If you had camera location data including some measurements of the potential virtual set, you could scale and place your geometry based on where the image is hitting it.  It would make it easy to quickly set up a scene and export it with a null at the camera location into a scene that could then be easily set up to work with motion capture data.  It would also make it easier to set up proxy objects for shadow passes based on the added digital models in Animator.

Whatever

I like to have some form of UV texturing.Or an FBX export in that line the ability to place bones and see how much you will need to add geometry to the model and weight maps for deformations. I do not remember how to but on the 3DNY Media book it shows you how to add UV your model. ?
I hope it has some type of history so you can go back to your NURBS or Bezier curveas and tweak it as it updates in real time.

Playing with EIM lately i have found the workflow for extruding and beveling is very buggy and slow. If these feauture can be less rigid will be a nice beginning. ANd also trying to extrude Ubernurbs i find there is no multiple loop selection i thought if you select one loop press shift and select an other it will add it but it just doesnt add to your selection having to select loop by loop is a pain in the neck.
