I am using 7.0.1 on a 4X2.5GHz Power PC G5.  Should I be able to use the renderama multiple processor option or does that only work on Intel Macs?  I just tried, doing it just like Ian says I should but it didn’t work. Got this two error messages. (att)

Hi Vic3d,
It should work, however, your set-up looks wrong to me, you IP addresses should all be the same (get the IP from Network in System Preferences), and your port numbers should all be different.

So… What’s your IP? And, what’s the slave port number?

My iP, I suppose is 192.168.1.10, the thing is I was trying to do all this in one machine, not over the network.  That is why all the iPs are the same. I just changed the port numbers arbitrarily.

OK, I just realized I had the wrong number on the 4th server, only the 5th slave had the right number, but it didn’t work anyway.  I am going to give it another try and I’ll get back to you, thanks a lot.
