EI’s put up with plenty of bitching over the years, so I don’t think so.

I’ve seen other company forums where users get banned on a hair trigger just for making reference to a broken feature (Hash)… and other company forums where the users basically do nothing but complain about how badly broken the software is and the company almost never even posts to acknowledge it (e-on).

So, we’ve go it pretty good here.

Also, I apparently browse far too many cgi related forums.

I’d just like to update this thread with some news I found. Originally this was in another thread, but I couldn’t find it - so it shall go in here:

http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?t=140415

This is an ongoing thread in the Blender community about a new city-generation engine, which has grown to be amazingly good in just a few short months. The new UI of Blender 2.5 finally brings it into the realm of passable usability, at least in my brief experience using it.

Now if we could just get tools and developers like this - the skill and enthusiasm over there in Blender-Land is really inspiring.
