I need to animate the word “earth”, it comes on from the left side of the screen, as it gets to the right it starts to deform, like wrapping around the earth, do a 360 around the earth the land in to positon
The word at the beginning is close to the camera but as it deforms and rotates i want it to be far from the camera.

The bend deformation tool will be good for this. Choose the relevant deformation axis for your text model (e.g. deform along x-axis. Distort z-axis).
Keyframe the deformation from 0 to 360 as appropriate in your timeline. Make sure to use the “bend from center” option.

An alternative would be to use Pathfinder or Contortionist.
