Rodeo is fantastic, I’ve piled thousands of objects into it and it just works and works.

For impacts as shown in that video, however, pre-breaking (or un-grouping) would be required - inside your modelling program.

This can take between 10 seconds (using un-group or shatter features) and a week (knifing and splitting).
