Camera Lock

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if EIAS has a way to “lock” the camera x-y-z positions.
Especially when doing 3D stills, I spend lots of time to reach the perfect camera angle.
But every once in a while I accidentally hit my space bar and mouse “pan”, thus ruining my cam view.

How does one go around this problem ?

Regards, Bert.

Hi Bert,

In the linking window, you can change the link type to ‘lock’. This will stop the object/camera from moving.

Hope that helps!

Okay.

Hmmm. when selecting my camera and choosing the link editor, the options are grayed out.
Must be doing something wrong, I guess…

I’m afraid I don’t know what I’m talking about.... What I said works for groups, but not cameras....

I wonder if anyone else knows....

duplicate the camera and uncheck it in the layer window...that way you have a spare…
