Sorry, i´m still on 5.05 because i don´t do much 3d anymore, and i´m sure this topic has been asked before.
I need to animate some light along a complicated path made in illustrator. I have imported the eps-file into animator but then i´m stuck. Can anyone point me i any direction how to do this?

What you need to do is convert the illustrator path to line segments.  Then you can use a plugin like Pathfinder which will generate motion data based on that line-segment model.
