Silence is a vacuum that fills with rumors.

Not providing feedback to customers is like biting the hand that feeds you.

Shall I go on?

Silence can also mean the run up to product announcements. As it’s clear that even Ian isn’t divulging anything in the way of replies here or in CGSociety.

Exciting.

(If fact I’ve just been playing around with EIM from DVGarage.com The 3D tool Kit is 30days free and only $99 (£60) to buy.)

I was modeling some simple perfume bottle in my old copy of EIM, and I struggled with so many cul-de-sacs ops-wise (from aberrations out of booleaning deformation objects to straight crashes when trying to bevel a hole) that I’ve had to simply create all the intermediate parts in EIM so that I can export them to ViaCad and do the booleans, knifings and bevelings there (and I’ve come to hate ViaCad’s UI as much as I love its tools’ tolerance).

So PLEASE, Kishore, Brad, Igors: give us a sign. Wiggle your bottom, do the robot dance! :D

The developers must be under enormous stress now that their self-imposed deadline has passed.

Why not take a breather and officially announce an extended rough deadline?

Tesla will be worth the wait.

Edgard and Jim, I agree.  I am not upset or anything like that.  Im just curious, as is about 500 other people who read this in a short time.  No negativity here, just trying to help politely push for a little info.
.......
Ian responded in the other thread on CG talk that things are close… (ALL EI fans need to read BOTH message boards!) As a big fan of EI I hope they roll out both with the right amount of marketing\ press releases\ reviews etc
