sorry for the mysterious title, there, but this is driving me crazy. It’s NOT directly EIAS related, I know, but it’s EI tech, so I’m hoping someone will take pity on me…

30 days ago, I downloaded a trial version (or a trial upgrade, can’t remember which) of the DV Garage/Electric Image 3d Toolkit—version 4.0.5.

It expired today—in the middle of a project, of course. I’m happy to buy it—BUT—I have NO idea where it came from! The latest version that DV Garage has is 2.5 (which we already own, and is buggy as heck, in OSX 10.4.9). Any help is much appreciated! I may upgrade to EIAS at some point in the near future, but right now I can’t afford the learning curve, time-wise.

EDIT: Never mind. Apparently—for SOME reason—the Toolkit “version 2.5” includes the Modeler, version 4.0.5, and the Animator version 4.1. How that makes it “2.5” I’ll NEVER know.

The best thing to do would be to contact Phil Martin at EITG and purchase an upgrade to EIAS 6.6.2. The advancements made since v4.0.5 are impressive. The only thing you loose out on is the modeler. However, there are plenty of alternative solutions for that.
