Set up the project
1. Tick ‘Enable network rendering’ in the network tab of the render dialogue. Total frame strips > put two in here.
2. Specify a name.
3. Hit go and choose a location. Animator will now write the control files.

Set up the machine
1. Set up two slave folders on your Mac, make sure they have duplicates of your plug and shader folders.
2. Launch the renderama slave from each of the two slave folders.
3. Change the port number from the default to something else (1617 or 1618… so the renderama slave ip should read something like 10.0.0.2:1617 - Quit the renderama slaves and load them up again.
4. Open up renderama you should see your job name on the left. You should also see a list of slaves on the right (probably only one at the moment called ‘Local’)
5. Add your slaves IP’s to the slave list (IP address plus port)
6. Turn the slaves on (little blue ball to the left of their names) and turn off the local camera.
7. Hit go!
